At Crumpler, quality is very important to us. It's at the heart of who we are; it’s apparent in our people, in our conversations, and in our products. That your bag will last the test of time, is a design imperative for our team.
Our philosophy embraces this focus. We make nothing that is “disposable” and will not release a product until we are 100% comfortable with its quality and functionality.
Therefore, if your Crumpler bag fails because of defective materials or craftsmanship, under normal use and during the warranty period, we'll repair or replace the part(s) in question with no questions asked.
To request a repair, send your bag and repair request to Crumpler Head Office located at 10/180 Russell Street, Melbourne, VIC, 3000, Australia or submit a repair inquiry using the contact form. Our team will get straight back to you with next steps.
If we think the fault occurred as a result of 'abnormal' usage – with no offence intended – we'll contact you and obtain your approval to repair the bag at your expense.
The Crumpler Warranty guarantees, to the original retail purchaser, that the zippers, buckles, and bindings, and all other components on our products will be free from defects in materials or craftsmanship for the duration of the warranty period and for as long as the original purchaser owns the product. If one of our products fails during the warranty period due to a defect in material or craftsmanship, we will repair or replace the defective part upon return of the product to one of our AU Crumpler stores or if it is sent to our repair team in Melbourne, postage paid, together with your proof of purchase.
The Crumpler Warranty covers Crumpler product purchased in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Iran, Fiji, India, Philippines, Japan, Brunei, USA, and Canada.
The warranty does not cover damages that result from misuse or abuse of the product. It does not cover normal wear and tear or damages such as abrasion, general aging, scratches or fading. The guarantee also does not cover incidental or consequential damages, such as damage to, or loss of, the contents of a bag, loss of use, loss of time, or similar expenses.
It does not cover any Crumpler products purchased in Europe, South Africa or South America.
We know luggage has to withstand a lot, we've seen our own bags thrown hither and yon by eager airport staff. This is why we make our luggage and travel goods tough. But like your favourite sneakers, our luggage will scuff, dint and scratch as you use it. Essentially, we see it as unavoidable, and character building. And as we can’t personally supervise each baggage handler, this kind of wear and tear is considered normal and is not covered by our guarantee.
The Crumpler Warranty sits alongside applicable consumer protection law.
