Local Identity (L)

Some days you want to shoot the big picture, others you want to be part of it. This bag lets you do both. With its removable Crumpler Haven camera pod in place, the large Local Identity becomes a sling-able quickdraw photography/laptop combo. Without, it’s a generous 15-inch laptop and cargo carrier. In either mode, the Local is about as secure and waterproof as a bag gets.

REMOVABLE POD FOR CAMERA GEAR

The bag comes with a large Crumpler Haven, which you can insert and remove as required. Fully padded and fully configurable with two velcro-mounting slimline dividers, the large Haven is designed to hold a DSLR Twin Lens kit and Flash or a Full Frame Body and Lense.

EXPANDABLE MAIN COMPARTMENT

Thanks to an ingenious foldaway inner lining, the Local Identity’s main compartment can shrink when the Haven is in place, and expand to full volume when it’s not.

DOUBLY SECURE

The bag’s roll-top opening and two side openings each feature a combination of clasp and zipper closures. You get extra security when you want it, and extra fast access when you don't.

FULLY ADJUSTABLE ERGONOMIC HARNESS

The large Local Identity’s harness system is wide, flexible and padded. Its fully adjustable chest and shoulder straps combine to distribute weight evenly across your body.

PERSPIRATION CONTROL

To help wick away perspiration, the rear of the bag and underside of its harness both feature Air Mesh padding.

EXTREME WATER RESISTANCE

All Crumpler photo bags are water resistant, but with its waterproof roll-top opening, YKK water resistant zippers and waterproof TPU tarpaulin front panel, the Local Identity will keep your gear bone dry in even the most extreme wet weather conditions.

We construct the Local Identity with ultra durable materials and reinforce the joining and/or stitching on all stress points. That’s why it carries Crumpler’s famous lifetime guarantee.

Warranty

Within the first three months if the bag fails due to defective materials of workmanship (under normal use) we will replace or repair the product no questions asked. You must however have the original receipt and provide it to us as proof of purchase.

After three months, if the bag fails due to defective materials of workmanship (under normal use) we will repair the bag. If the fault is deemed to have occurred under abnormal circumstances then we will contact you before repairing the bag at your cost (after gaining your approval to do so).

In either case take your bag (and proof of purchase) to one of our stores or post the bag to us at Crumpler HQ where we will make the assessment.
