A no frills, no fuss, less-is-more messenger style baggage buddy, the Western Lawn is large enough to hold an A4/foolscap-sized folder, and organised enough to compartmentalise your carryings on into two external pockets, three internal pockets and a large main cargo space in whatever way takes your fancy.

The water resistant 1,000D outer features a dual velcro-fastened flap for security, and a slashing contrast stripe for show. There’s also a strap trap accessory loop, while the Quick Flick™ buckle lets you adjust the carrying height of the Western Lawn as easily and expeditiously as its name suggests.

FLEXIBLE, ACCESSIBLE SPACE

To ensure you can put lots of stuff in and get to it pronto, we first put in lots of thought. That's why the large main compartment is also host to a deep, velcro-fastened centre pocket plus left and right deep stuff pockets. And why the Western Lawn also features two additional full depth external stuff pockets.

DUAL VELCRO FLAP FASTENERS

Seal the Western Lawn's outer flap with its dual oversized injection moulded velcro fasteners and even the most dexterous pocket pickerer will struggle to get their mischievous mitts in unnoticed.

WIDE, ADJUSTABLE LENGTH SHOULDER STRAP

The more stuff you carry, the more you need a wide shoulder strap to distribute its weight - and the more youíll appreciate the Western Lawnís soft but strong 50mm flamed polypropylene webbing. Complete with QuickFlick™ buckle system, it will go to almost any lengths to ensure the bag sits right where you want it.

STRAP TRAP ACCESSORY LOOP

The reinforced side accessory loop makes a handy hideaway for surplus strappage. Or use it for any frippery, baggery, gidgetry, gadgetry or other hangers on of your choosing.

WATERPROOFING MEASURES

Be it rain, hail, sleet, snow, beer or mixed drinks, the bagís 1,000D outer and oversized flap are designed to weather the storm and keep whatís inside dry.

If your Crumpler bag fails as a result of defective materials or workmanship under normal use while you: a) draw breath and b) remain the bag’s owner, we’ll repair or replace the part(s) in question – no questions asked. Just drop your bag off at a Crumpler Store or mail your bag to a Crumpler HQ, postage paid, together with your proof of purchase and a short note to explain the problem. We’ll make it right and send it back to you ASAP.

If we reckon the fault occurred as a result of ‘abnormal’ usage – no offence intended – we’ll contact you and obtain your approval to repair the bag at your expense.

I have The Western Lawn Crumpler and use it everyday to commute to university. Its enough to carry a few exercise books and a thick text book and a large drink bottle. External and internal pockets are big enough to carry your wallet/pens/camera. All round is a great bag but im now looking for something bigger like The Complete Seed as i have no where to put my jumper when its hot! Good day tripper bag - have taken it to HK/Malaysia/Taipei wont leave OZ with out it! WHOO!

Problem: I normally use my baby bag to carry any bits & pieces I need while I'm out & about, but on a recent family holiday knew that it would be chockers with all the paraphernalia needed by a baby and toddler during a whole day's sightseeing. Second bag for adult's stuff needed. Solution? (loud fanfare) the Western Lawn!! Perfect size for wallet, phone, water bottle, snack, still camera, video camera, maps, brochures, etc, etc. And when I went off with just the toddler for a few hours, room for his drink, a couple of nappies, book, and teddy. Definitely a winner here!

I just bought my western lawn! *euphoric* I just needed one because my old bag was bursting with my stethoscope, white coat, pen torch, ipod, books, files etc etc. This bag did the job comfortably. Besides, I have the habit of using my bag as an "emergency umbrella" lol

Don't let the size of Western Lawn deceive you! I was a bit skeptical of its size when i got it today, but it even fit my 15.4" widescreen laptop + misc comfortably! Out goes the laptop, in goes all my junk! =]

Eight years and going strong.

I bought this bag eight years ago, when I was in my last year of primary school. I have used it the whole way through high school, and now in TAFE. It is an excellent bag, there has been nothing that has needed repair, even though I have used it constantly for so long, and taken it to many places: both interstate and international. It is also a great overnight bag, it is my bag of choice (between a few) for whatever I do, unless it just cannot fit everything that I need in it; which rarely happens. There is only one small thing that needs repair on the bag, a small part of the reflective strip, where one of the buckles is, has been ripped down. If you want a good strong bag, that will serve your everyday needs, and one that all of your friends will soon want too, then get one of these.

I've had a Western Lawn since 2007 and have been supremely impressed. I've used it as a travel carry-on bag, a laptop bag, a gym bag and my everyday work bag. It has travelled with me from Perth to Toronto to San Francisco to Cardiff to Launceston -- to this day there is very little sign of wear and no tear whatsoever. I might never have owned a better value anything ever. (Practical consideration for lady physique - the strap crosses over my DD chest fine, with no comfort issues, whether I'm wearing it low on the hip or up high backpack style.)

Best bag ever

As a female, I think most women's hand bags are completely useless. I just don't get it when I see women on the train juggling multiple hand bags because they don't have one decent practcial all purpose bag. I've had my Western Lawn since 2007. It's honestly the best bag I've ever had. It's functional, practical, hard wearing and better still, you can throw it in the washing machine to give it a good clean. After 4 years of being dragged around on trains, cars, planes and bikes, it still looks new. I've since brought a lap top bag from crumpler and I'm just as happy with it. Keep up the good work Crumpler. Your products are awsome!

Versatile and my best nappy bag!

After using numerous expensive, heavy and girly nappy bags for over a year, I wanted to get something lightweight and unisex that both my husband and I can use, and I bought the black Western Lawn. The quick release buckle means I can get the bag on and off my stroller in a few seconds, rather than fiddling with stroller clips. I can also wear it as a messenger bag when I take my toddler out, leaving both hands free for toddler emergencies! The bag is spacious and can be cleaned easily with a wet cloth and air-dried! It fits all the things I need for toddler (Snacks and Water) and the Skip Hop nappy change wallet as well. My husband and I love the bag!
