Industry Disgrace

Most camera straps try to re-shape the back of your neck. Not this ergonomic puppy. Weightlifter wide, thick like a weathergirl and with a double layer neoprene neck cushion, its body-hugging contours distribute the mass of your camera evenly across your shoulders.

No irritation. No scarification. Constructed of flamed polypropylene, 900D, Air Mesh, and dual layer nylon-reinforced PVC, it’s soft where it matters but strong where it counts.

MOISTURE CONTROL

The neoprene neck cushion wicks away perspiration for evaporation into the sweatasphere through twin exhausts.

ANTI SLIP LINER

Embossed anti-slip rubber logo doesn’t just appease the marketing honchos, it stops the strap sliding around on your neck or shoulder.

DOUBLE LENGTH ADJUSTMENT

Dual upper and lower adjustable tri-glide buckles let your camera assume every position from gangsta thigh hugger to Harry High Pants.

SUPER STRENGTH WEBBING

Tapering from extra wide double weave at your end, to camera eyelet size at the business end, the super strength one piece tubular flamed polypropylene webbing keeps a vice like grip on your camera.

DUAL ACCESSORY LOOPS

Left and right reinforced accessory loops let you attach other photo-gidgetry and gadgetry for instant access.

LANYARD SLIDE THROUGH

Carrying a lanyard as well as your camera? Thread it through the space between the neoprene neck cushion and the outer liner. Who said two into one doesn’t go?

Superb

By baudman

I was really disappointed with the cruddy strap I got with my Canon EOS400D. The Industry Disgrace, on the other hand, is superb. Well padded for a really heavy rig but not heavy.

About the Industry Disgrace

By

I am using a crumpler industry disgrace on a canon eos 5D camera with it's vertical battery grip. From wide angle to heavy telephoto L lenses on the 5D, the neck strap manages to still hold the total weight, without me to feel any strain on myself.

Ah relief

By Anonymous

I had two choices for carrying a heavy camera, hire a sherpa to carry my stuff or get a better strap to relieve the neck pain. I chose the Industry Disgrace because it solved the neck pain issue. Real comfortable strap, I'm buying more for other cameras.

BEST CAMERA STRAP YET!

Camera Neck Strap is sweet!

I thought this strap looked to be a good buy and I was right. I'm very happy with the comfort it gives me when attached to my Nikon D700, which weighs over a kilo with lens.

Not an option...an essential

I've been eyeing around for a new strap that would not only feel good and work well but also look great. The Industry Disgrace is the perfect strap for me. It wraps around my neck comfortably, it makes me feel confident carrying my Canon 450D around! Get one!

Best Strap Ever!

By Anonymous

I owned a Canon PowerShot G10 & the strap that comes with the camera really irritates my skin during photo shooting. On another hand, i am glad that i bought an Industry Disgrace as a replacement as it is comfy and lighten my camera weight. Worth the $$$

A must have for EOS 5D

By Robbie d

After shooting all day yesterday, the Industry Disgrace showed its worth. My neck was comfortable all day, I used it in both the straight forward camera in front style and the bandoleer style. Performed great all day.

Versatile

By MillieM

I used this strap on a 7 week trip to Europe to allow me to have my 5d ready when needed. I found the neck piece a little large for my neck but it worked perfectly slung over my body. It worked much like a messenger or sling bag which meant I could have the camera further towards my back, when not using it, rather than banging against my stomach. I didn't have to change this position, just grabbed the camera, composed the shot and then slide it back when I was done. Best sling strap ever.

Heavy camera solution

By Randy Jiner

I use the Industry Disgrace on a Pentax K-1000 and a Kodak Stereo 35. I can carry around my neck or slung over my shoulder, and fatigue is never a problem. They are also nice and cool when tromping around on hot days. If you use a heavy camera, the Industry Disgrace is the solution.

All six (6) of my camera are supported by an Industry Disgrace strap. The quality and comfort of this strap is unmatched. Go and buy one of these, maybe even six. You wont regret it.

Not just for cameras...

I have been searching the radio control industry for a decent neck strap for my RC transmitter without any luck, then I came across the Industry Disgrace, absolutely perfect for my needs of carrying a heavy transmitter around my neck for extended periods of time, thanks Crumpler.
