Hello Cinefiles, As part of Crumpler’s ongoing support of creative endeavours we continue to fund young filmmakers. Check out a preview of our new luggage commercial, produced by the talented Zenga Brothers from Toronto.
We first met the Zengas in 2004 when we supported their doco ‘Where are you Go’, on the basis of this remarkable film we asked them to produce a commercial. After a quick chat, we sent them some luggage and set them free. They put their bodies on the line and produced something pretty special.
We’re big fans of music so we’re very happy and proud too, that we’re supporting this year’s EG awards, taking place at Prince Bandroom on November 23. The EG Awards is a fundraiser for Support Act Limited , which lends helps to musicians experiencing health and financial difficulties. The awards have raised more than $50,000 for this worthy cause since their inception 6 years ago. Eight of the 10 EG Awards are determined by The Age readers, making them the largest reader-voted music awards in the country, drawing a record 45,000 votes last year. We officially lauched the latest addition to our retail stable at Sydney’s World Square last Thursday, September 22nd. There were celebratory drinks and nibbles, tunes by Brendan King and photos aplenty. A couple of lucky guests left with 2 Crumpler Splatter Bags, from our soon- to-be released range of Limited Edition Messenger bags ( watch this space for more info on those). We think a fun time was enjoyed all round.
