DRY RED NO 11 is rated 2.75 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Indestructible No 11 has traversed the Metro in Paris, Rome & Barcelona. It’s coped with being dragged over gravel in Treviso, grass in Nantes, deep cobble stones in Avignon, ultra saline Mediterranean Sea water on a yacht in the Greek Cyclades, snow and more. It returns home with great stories to tell, and every adventure it survives – unscathed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's ok I bought this bag a few years ago. However, there are a few problems. The front section where one would store clothes, is really difficult to lock because the thingy inside the storage zone is too short to hook up with the zipper. You can only use a very small padlock with this. I think this bag is meant for a leftie because lifting the bag is very awkward. When full, the bag cannot stand upright as it kept toppling over.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Needs Improvement We bought two of these bags to replace previous Wenger and Samsonite bags. Bought Crumpler because of the look and expectation of quality. First thing that happened was that one of the extension handles didn't work properly from new. Crumpler replaced this bag immediately. We have now completed two overseas trips with these bags carrying around 16kg in each and have the following to offer: 1) The bags would definitely benefit from having a lift handle at the wheel base of the bag. Always looking for it when lifting in and out of car boots. Most other bags have this. Very awkward to lift a full bag. 2) The corner support structure for the wheels is not strong enough. One corner has collapsed on one bag making it very difficult to wheel in the upright position. It goes everywhere and takes a good deal of force to keep straight. 3) I find the single "X" elastic internal clothing hold-down strap useless. Have had much better outcomes with bags that have a separate strap for each half of the bag. Would I buy Crumpler again? No.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 100% Product failure! My wife and I bought a pair of these suitcases for our round the world trip in September 2014. A whopping $790…we thought we were buying quality and longevity, however we were sadly mistaken. The first thing we noticed was when the bags are fully packed they lose their shape and become a cumbersome round balloon shaped…this makes them very prone to toppling over. 2/ The locking mechanism on the outside pocked is almost impossible to use as the tiny connecting hook is located inside the zip (?!). 3/ When you lift the bag with the side handle it stretches the bag completely out of shape…a good 20cm of stretch. 4/ Now to the major issue…half way through our round the world trip the base of my bag, to which the wheels are connected, shattered…completely…so that the 2 wheels collapsed and became useless. I had to lift all 19kg of this bag through the streets of Zurich, Bern, Tokyo, Kyoto & Sydney. This led to a very sore back and a pretty annoying remainder of our holiday. Ordinarily I can understand maybe a crack or a bend or something getting torn…but not a complete disintegration of the bags main structure! The base seems to be made from a plastic that has absolutely no flexibility or resilience. After returning home, I took both bags back to the shop asking for a refund. They outright refused and instead insisted that I take 2 new replacement bags instead. But here's the catch…I DON"T WANT THEM! I have no faith in the construction of these bags, they are cumbersome and badly put together for the price. How many times I had to watch my wife struggle with this thing…toppling over, struggling up and down stairs with handles that stretched too much and a main compartment that became balloon shaped when packed.
