Design notes

Can’t decide between a sling pack and a waist pack? Equip yourself with the medium Mild Enthusiast and have both. Suitable for a standard DSLR and two lenses, this lightweight configurable camera carrier can be worn off the shoulder for instant grab and shoot access, or around the midriff, where its table-like stability creates the perfect platform for rapid fire equipment and accessory changes.

  • 7 storage zones - twin gripper zippered photo compartment, zippered full width photo compartment front pocket, three rear photo compartment stuff pockets, rear external zippered slip pocket for an iPad and elasticised front accessory loops
  • Configurable interior, the padded, brushed nylon photo compartment includes a velcro fastening divider, so you can configure the space to your exact needs
  • Clamshell opening, unzipped in sling mode, waist mode or just resting on the ground mode, the gusseted photo compartment flap opens like a clamshell to prevent your gear from accidentally unpacking itself
  • Wide, adjustable length strap with quick release clasp
  • Lockable interior
  • Heavy duty plain weave polyester outer fabric, highly water resistant and extremely durable
  • Coated rip stop lining, tear and water resistant
  • Plush brushed nylon lining in all camera zones

MILD ENTHUSIAST (M) is rated 4.6429 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from All you need Got the bag for my trip to Europe as a camera / iPad bag etc. Very easy to pack and thanks to the design the gadgets are very well protected in there. Easy and quick access if necessary.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Slim looking but it swallows a DSLR! Great sizing shoulder/waist bag. It can fit my Nikon D800 or Df with a 35mm/50mm prime lens on the body plus a 85mm f1.4 and doesn't look too bulky (bag is not heavily padded though). On the shoulder sling, it's easy to swing around to the front for a quick lens change. I like the bright interior colour - easy on the eyes to look for stuff. It would have been perfect if it had a small loop or handle along the centre of the bag for picking up the bag (but sadly no, I have to grab one end of the sling to pick it up)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good practical design This bag snugly but comfortably fits a mid-size DSLR like an EOS 6D lying horizontally with a medium-sized lens attached, and another lens stored vertically, along with bits and pieces in the various pockets. The clamshell opening is great - you can just open it and take the camera by the grip, without feeling that anything is going to fall out too easily. This works well with a wrist strap attached to the camera, I find. The design is noticably slimmer than the shoulder bag that I might otherwise use to carry the same gear. The details are good and the build quality seems fine - no problems so far.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just the basics I've been a Crumpler fan for years now. Great design, construction, and a certain funkiness that appeals. I asked the man at the Crumpler shop for a bag that would carry my camera and a spare lens, plus my iPad. He scratched his head, reached to the rack behind him and pulled down this bag. Love it! It does the job, holds either my Canon EOS M with a couple of bits, or my big 70D with a bit of a zoom. Plus the iPad. Comfortable, stylish, not too great a burden like some of my camera bags, full of pockets and pouches and the temptation to pack every bit of kit.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great size and comfort. Maybe not for Mirrorless! I bought this item a few weeks ago, and generally like it a lot. I would note however it really would benefit from a padded shoulder pad, or something to cover the buckle at least, which is easy to open by accident. Or at least partially un-clip. Also, the inside really needs an additional divider. Only if you're using this for large DSLR and lens combinations is it OK with just one divider. Smaller cameras and lenses just tend to get lost in this bag due to too much empty space.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks good and is practical I bought this for my husband as he wanted a camera bag that carried all the things he needed for a day trip, without looking like a tourist. Which is understandable! I found this option and it ticks all the boxes of being hold camera equipment, a bottle of water, his tablet and phone with a little style. It would have been better improved if it had a waist strap/clip as then it really would have been practical for riding with his bike.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just right Bought it a month ago. Just the right size and color as described on the site. Pic would have been handy for suggested ways to use the compartments but working it out. Sits nice against the body. Strap is probably not an all day strap

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works exactly how I want it to! I bought this with the idea of carrying an SLR, ipad and changers. It does all that with ease. Also find this very stylish and love using it. Protects everything with ease.
