VELCRO SILENCERS

Lurking behind the bagís velcro fasteners are matching velcro silencer flaps. Pull 'em out. Press 'em in position. Open and close on the QT, then lock down with the side release compression straps. Ssshhhhimple!

FLEXIBLE, ACCESSIBLE SPACE

To ensure you can put in lots of gear, we first put in lots of thought. Thatís why the main compartment features six configurable brushed padded nylon dividers - four with fold down flaps - plus a separate zippered mesh pocket. It's also why the dual zone front pocket features gusseted sides. And why you can access the side stuff pockets without even opening the bag.

WIDE, ADJUSTABLE LENGTH STRAP WITH ANTI-SLIP SHOULDER PAD

The more gear you carry, the more you need a wide shoulder strap to distribute its weight. Thatís why the Six Million Dollar Home's is made from 50mm flamed polypropylene webbing and includes an EVA foam lined shoulder pad with anti-slip rubber grip. Complete with tri-glide buckle system, it will go to almost any lengths to help you get that great shot.

PADDED CARRY HANDLE

Cushioned with EVA foam for maximum comfort, the ergonomically styled carry handle is shaped to match the natural contours of your hand and fingers.

QUAD ACCESSORY LOOPS

Left and right pairs of reinforced side accessory loops let you attach other photo-gidgetry and gadgetry for instant access.

WATERPROOFING MEASURES

The seamless one-piece 900D base prevents water seepage when the bag is placed on wet surfaces, while the double thickness 900D flap does the same to rain, hail, sleet, snow, beer and mixed drinks.

ANTI-ABSRASIVE SURFACES

The 900D outer and brushed padded nylon interior combine phenomenal strength with exceptional smoothness and malleability. Your clothes don't catch. Your equipment donít get scratched.

STRUCTUAL INTEGRITY

Polyethylene-EVA foam laminate inserts at the base and handle ensure the bag holds its shape, even when loaded up to pussy's bow, while the curved flap keeps everything under cover.

BUILT TOUGH

Designed to outlast its lifetime guarantee, the bag features a super strength water resistant 900D outer, flamed polypropylene webbing, triple strength S-Bend webbing attachment, injection moulded velcro and bonded nylon thread with bar tack stitching on all stress points.

Awesome Bag!

By

Best shoulder bag ever! I can get a Nikon D700 w/24-70 f2.8 attached, 80-400 VR and SB800 plus the usual accessories. This bag is a real pleasure to work from and far less cumbersome than my old backback. Way to go Crumpler!

It's like Mary Poppin's Bag!

Ok - maybe not that big, but this bag hold a LOT of kit. I have my Canon 350 with grip and Sigma 18 - 125 attached, Sigma 10-20, 75-300, 105, Canon 50 PLUS 4 hoods, filters, extra batteries and Rocket Blower in here. AND it looks GREAT!! Get this bag..

Full of Crumpler-y goodness

My first camera bag, but fourth crumpler: awesome, as ever. It's a home for my new baby, a nikon d90 - fits body, two lenses, accessories (charger, extra cards, flash), plus a little room left over for a book, ipod, keys, wallet, water bottle. Perfect!

This bag is great. It fits my D300 and my very large lens (17-55) vertically and horizontally. After 3 weeks of looking at other bags, none of them came to the standard of Crumpler. Top Job!

Simply Amazing!

By Gio Abaquin

This is my 3rd Crumpler bag and second Camera bag. My first one is the Crumpler Pretty Boy XXL, but the 6 MDH, with the spacious yet rugged design, has got to be the Mini-SUV of Crumpler's camera bag. It's the perfect bag to take with you on out-of-town tours. Classy and fun color combos give it more of a messenger bag than a camera bag feel to it, so you don't announce to everyone that you're carrying thousands of dollars worth of equipment. It carries my 400D with grip, my Sigma 18-125mm, 50mm f1.8, 3 filters, speedlight, hoods, batteries, charger and card reader, all this while leaving space for more. I particularly love the modular padded lining, so you can reconfigure the bag's interiors to suit the day's haul. The 6MDH is the perfect size when you're going on downtown street shoots, tours and even theme parks!

Fits so snug!

Got this as an Xmas gift 3 years back and have been using it ever since! Love how it's super padded and roomy with velcro sides!

6M Rocks

By Wendy Klock-Johnson

I LOVELOVELOVE my 6M. It fits all of my gear (Nikon body, 3 lenses, flash, video camcorder) in the main, with plenty of room to grow. Although not technically a "laptop camera bag" my 13" macbook fits right in. (an Ipad fits in there too!) I don't carry my laptop all the time, but always when I travel, so this is my carry-on and I don't need anything else. The front lap is great for filters and other misc, but I use it to carry my phone and wallet. I also have a dog with me where ever I go (service dog in training) the side pouch and front flap have enough room for her collapsable bowl, a ziplock of kibble, and doggie bags of course. The strap is wide and comfy, the offset strap helps it lay snug against the body, and minimizes shoulder fatigue. Did I say I LOVELOVELOVE this bag?

Really Great Bag!

By Beth

I really, really love this bag! But... I wish it had a cell phone pocket on the outside & maybe another pocket - I just went to Utah & that would have made the bag perfect! It's a super great camera bag and easy to carry around. It held everything that I needed to take with me for photography.

Great bag

By Steve

Very happy with this bag! Well constructed, quality bag. The 6MDH is perfect for my needs as a photographers BOB (bug out bag). It holds my D90, 18-200, 35 prime, 50 prime, 900 flash, assortment of cords, gizmo’s, charger and extra batteries and there is still room to spare. I also bought some long Velcro tie downs and with the side loops I’m able to attach my tripod so it hangs under the bag. If you have not seen the bag in person the picture on the Crumpler site makes it look a bit big (or model was small guy). I ordered from the Canadian site and shipping was super fast. My wife (non photographer) actually liked it as well and just purchased the 2MDH to use as a purse and her point and shoot. I highly recommend this product.

6 Mil Freakin' Kills!

By Gochugogi

This is bag is sized for carrying a pro SLR (1D series) or prosumer DSLR with battery grip and a couple lenses and flash. It is not a small bag. I think medium sized is an apt description. Check out the 4 or 5 Million Dollar Homes if you merely need to carry a small DSLR and kit zoom. I bought the 6 Mil for carrying my Canon EOS 5D2 with attached 24-105 4L IS USM. It's a perfect fit and has plenty of room for a flash and/or medium sized lens or two, plus a few nicknacks like iPod and CF cards. I easily can fit my 70-200 4L IS USM in one of side compartments if I seat the 5D/24-105 lens down with the grip facing towards forward. However, the 70-200 is too long to leave mounted on the camera. It will go in but the lid/flap will not close all the way. The 6 Mil is a smart looking bag, sort of a chubby messenger bag with urban street attitude. Mine is goth black with snot green interior. Nobody will ever mistake it for a purse. My wife says I look like a trendy metromale rather than a geeky photog when I carry the 6MDH. Although it doesn't look like a typical camera bag, it won't fool a knowledgable gear thief. Get a Timbuk2 Snoop if you need to be incognito or ride a bike. The Crumpler lacks a cross strap so is not the best choice for biking or running. However it would not be difficult to rig up a cross strap and attach it to one of the tripod straps. The 6 Mil is a toploader with 2 compartments for lenses or flash on both sides of the main camera compartment (with stock divider placement). Outside each side compartment lies a narrow pocket, just wide enough to slide in an iPhone, a couple filters, or a mitt full of CF cards. The adjustable dividers are stiff (frame inside), well padded and don't buckle under camera weight. The velcro used to anchor the dividers is super heavy duty and will never move in normal use. I like the soft cloth interior and, unlike coarse nylon cloth, will not scratch the camera finish with repeated sliding in and out of the bag. The bag has some type of stiff reinforcing material in the walls and dividers, so it keeps its shape whether full or empty and, of course offers great protection. The downside to this stiffness is the bag doesn't conform to your body shape and can't be flattened for packing in a suitcase. Some have complained the velcro on the flap, although strong, is too loud when opened. If they bothered to read the instructions (!), they'd know all of the recent Million Dollar Home bags have a fold out cover to disable the velcro. Of course you'll need to remember to use the buckle. The 2 inch strap is comfy and includes lacks a lightly padded 12 inch shoulder pad. It warps nicely around the shoulder with a light or heavy load, evenly distributing the bag weight. I greatly prefer this shoulder pad to Crumpler's "Industry Disgrace" super heavy duty shoulder pad. I wish Crumpler added a zippered pocket on the rear for storing airline tickets, passport, etc. The front pocket storage is pretty minimal. Finally, the coarse nylon on the exterior, although nearly indestructible, really tears up your clothing after a few hours of walking around. Jeans fare okay but some of my t-shirts have holes where the bag "sanded" them during trekking. I wouldn't use this bag while wearing a delicate shirt or jacket! My solution was to sew a piece of fake leather on the back. Now no more ruined shirts! Other bag makers--Tamrac--make a point of using smoother material on the back to reduce clothing wear.

Round the world

By Idris Mokhtar

I brought my trusty Crumpler from LA, SF, NY, London, Paris, HK, Melbourne, Sydney and of course back home to KL. Very innovative features, especially the "quiet option" of 'hiding' your velcro section away so that you can access your equipment without making too much noise, especially useful when sitting in a quiet or discreet environment such as a wedding or meeting. The discreet looks of the bag also helps when traveling in crowded places such as the London Tube or Paris Metro, not many notice that you're actually carrying an expensive camera and equipment inside the olive colored bag! I even changed my Canon straps to Crumpler's ultra-comfortable and wider straps, which are actually universal-fit, so I got one each for my second camera as well as another for my HD video camera! Keep up the good work and keep on dreaming (I mean, creating) new, innovative Crumpler products!
