This unique slim-line laptop backpack allows you to step off your bike and into work, without looking like you’ve just stepped off your bike. The Nhill Heist is designed back-to-front, the laptop sleeve is suspended away from your back allowing you extra padding space between it and you. And because the straps cross over the main zipper they proactively block would be pocket pickerers.

Inside the 17-litre main zippered compartment is a padded laptop sleeve for up to a 17-inch laptop, four side pockets and space for A3 folders and papers. Two more zippered external pockets, one at the top and one at the side which can be accessed without taking the bag off your shoulder.

FLEXIBLE AND ACCESSIBLE CARGO SPACE

To ensure you can put lots of stuff in and get to it pronto, we first put in lots of thought. That’s why the 17 litre zippered main compartment features two distinct areas. One is a fully padded laptop sleeve large enough to hold up to a 17-inch laptop. The other is general cargo space with four side pockets for your paperwork, reading matter and other everyday essentials. The Nhill Heist has two more zippered external pockets, one at the top and one at the side which can be accessed without taking the bag off your shoulder.

NEOPRENE PADDED CARRY HANDLES

Wide, body contoured and padded with EVA foam, the Nhill Heist’s adjustable ergonomic straps distribute weight evenly across your shoulders, while also clamping down on top-opening compartments to block would be pocket pickerers.

EMBOSSED, NEOPRENE-PADDED CARRY HANDLE

The bag’s top carry handle features neoprene padding for maximum comfort, and an embossed, anti-slip rubber print to ensure you always have a firm grasp on the matters at hand.

WATERPROOFING MEASURES

Be it rain, hail, sleet, snow, beer or mixed drinks, the bag’s 900D/300D Rip-stop combo outer, 150D Rip-stop lining and YKK water resistant zippers are designed to weather the storm and keep your contents dry.

Designed to outlast its lifetime guarantee, the bag uses a distinctive wing design for inherent structural strength, and features a super tough water resistant 900D/300D Rip-stop combo outer, 150D Rip-stop lining, flamed polypropylene webbing, and bonded nylon thread with bar tak or reinforced stitching on all stress points.

Warranty

Within the first three months if the bag fails due to defective materials of workmanship (under normal use) we will replace or repair the product no questions asked. You must however have the original receipt and provide it to us as proof of purchase.

After three months, if the bag fails due to defective materials of workmanship (under normal use) we will repair the bag. If the fault is deemed to have occurred under abnormal circumstances then we will contact you before repairing the bag at your cost (after gaining your approval to do so).

In either case take your bag (and proof of purchase) to one of our stores or post the bag to us at Crumpler HQ where we will make the assessment.

Subtle utilitarianism

The Nhil Heist is my first Crumpler bag. I have for long wanted one of those Crumpler bags, but I always see the more common designs on the street which I wanted especially to avoid. And no I do not want Velcro. What caught my attention in the Nhil Heist was that this is a laptop backpack which actually looks sleek and understated. The others are bulging big! Yes, it's black, a colour which does not get dirty very easily and has an executive look. The design is definitely not a classic Crumpler, but nevertheless, for such a compact bag, it can carry quite a load of things. My 15 inch Macbook Pro fits inside well too, and it doesn't appear as if it is too large (it was originally made as a 17 inch laptop bag). The material is definitely Crumpler quality, and the build seems to suggest it will last a lifetime. This bag has a kind of elegance and subtle utilitarianism. If I were a bank robber in a heist - the act of stealing - I think I would want to have such a bag along, because it is stylish, yet can stash the cash. The best part about this bag is that it is quite unique yet usable. I can even store my tennis racquet, or two of them inside, if I like, while having space for spare clothing, a towel and other toiletries. Definitely, this would make the ideal traveller bag too, because of the secure design. The only thing negative one can find with this bag is probably the extremely high price.

I've only ever owned one Crumpler bag, My Seedy Three is now 10 years old but still going strong.....apart from the worn out velcro. It refuses do die. I decided on the Nhill Heist for a few reasons. I know it's going to last, it's stylish, slim-line, black, and it has a heap of space. It easily accomodates my 17" laptop, A4 files, adaptors, phone, wallet, keys, change of clothes and still doesn't look bulky or overloaded. It also fits perfectly under the seat on aircraft.
