FLEXIBLE, ACCESSIBLE SPACE

To ensure you can put lots of stuff in and get to it pronto, we first put in lots of thought. Thatís why the Bumper Issue's 9 litre main compartment is divided into two convenient-sized sections by an elasticised mesh diver. Why it also incorporates a sleeve for a two-litre hydration bladder, a netbook or anything else thatís kinda small-ish, flat-ish and rectangular-ish. Why there two further external side-opening zippered pockets. And why the bagís shoulder harness cleverly incorporates invisible slide throughs for feeds of the hydrating and/or audio variety.

TWO-LITRE HYDRATION BLADDER

Aye, what be yrrrr poison? H2O? Sports drink? Something a little, ahem, stronger? The Bumper Issue's easy clean bladder will hold and dispense two litres of your preferred hydrating fluid via a tube feed that snakes its way along integrated slide throughs in the bag's shoulder harness.

EMERGENCY WHISTLE

Take the road less travelled they said. And where did it take you? Straight to 'Lost' series seven. Still, at least you can improv a merry ol' tune on your Bumper Issue emergency whistle while you wait for rescue.

FULLY ADJUSTABLE ERGONOMIC CARRYING SYSTEM WITH TUBE FEED

Wide, body contoured, filled to the gills with EVA foam and complete with integrated hydration tube feed/earbud slide throughs, the Bumper Issue's fully adjustable ergonomic harness straps combine with chest and detachable waist belts to distribute weight evenly across your body.

COMPRESSION STRAP CLOSURE WITH QUICK RELEASE CLIP

Itís a cinch. Click open for quick fire free flap bag action. Click shut to close out the mischievous mitts of would be pocket pickerers.

PADDED CARRY HANDLE

The easiest pick up since Britney went off her meds, the Bumper Issue's carry handle features double weave flamed polypropylene for strength and durability.

QUAD QUICK RELEASE SIDE COMPRESSION STRAPS

Excess-ing your baggage? Bring the Bumper Issueís four quick release side compression straps into play. Exhale. Click. Tighten. Done.

SAFETY REFLECTORS

Cyclops evil eye rear reflectors combine with those on the quad compression straps to ensure you ñ and your views on passing motorists ñ are as plain as day, and even more obvious at night.

MOISTURE CONTROL

To help wick away perspiration into the sweatasphere, the rear of the bag and underside of its harness both feature Air Mesh padding. The rear also features a full-height spine vent to keep fresh air circulating between the bag and your back.

WATERPROOFING MEASURES

Be it rain, hail, sleet, snow, beer or mixed drinks, the bagís 1,000D outer, corner rainguards and hooded external zippers are designed to weather the storm and keep your cargo dry as a nun's gusset.

ANTI-ABSRASIVE SURFACES

The 1,000D outer and 300D Rip-stop lining combine phenomenal strength with exceptional smoothness and malleability. Your clothes don't catch. Your cargo don't get scratched.

BUILT TOUGH

Designed to outlast its lifetime guarantee, the bag features a super strength water resistant 1,000D outer, 300D Rip-stop lining, flamed polypropylene webbing, triple strength S-Bend webbing attachment, injection moulded velcro and bonded nylon thread with bar tack stitching on all stress points.

Outside Buyers Guide

By Outside Buyers Guide | http://outside.away.com/outside/gear/gear.tcl?gear=Crumpler-The-Bumper-Issue&gear_id=8255&action=showgear

Outside Buyers Guide reviewed the Bumper Issue in their summer 2009 edition, this is what they wrote:"This smart little pack brings dash of technical know-how to a street-savvy bag. In town, you can remove the hip strap to dial back the crunchy-guy factor, while a bit of reflective piping increases your visibility when riding or walking in the dark. Wherever we were, the water-resistant ripstop fabric and full-coverage top closure kept our stuff dry in a driving rain, while the side clips held everything from a packable fly rod to a half-dozen roses. At 800 cubic inches, it's big enough for all-day summer excursions. Bonus: It comes with a really nice (it's made by a company we like called Source) 70-ounce hydration bladder that you'll actually want to use. Its sliding top closure is well constructed and wide, making it easy to clean."
